TOSHIBA e-STUDIO6550C SERIES GIVE BUSINESSES A NEW LEVEL OF COLOR INNOVATION AND INTELLIGENCE
Singapore, 15 June 2011
Toshiba Singapore announces the launch of the new intelligent e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C series. This full color series feature Toshiba’s revolutionary platform – the new generation e-BRIDGE System built based on Linux. Its system architecture has been reconstructed, offering many new merits for users and dealers, including connectivity with other systems, simplified customizations, and improved response speed, system serviceability, and maintainability.
Impressive Colour Performance
Toshiba offers e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C, the high-speed powerful Multifunction Printers which demand color quality for both corporate and professional color environments, and high level of productivity. This series enables users to produce consistent and predictable color with impressive screen-alike vivid images and graphics. The state-of-the-art mechanisms not only help user to achieve the desired color quality by preventing irregularities and colour discrepancies during printing, uniform printing precision is also maintained.
The e-STUDIO6550C series has a PostScript overprint function which allows user to get printout quality similar to production print. Using the CMYK overprint feature of the e-STUDIO6550C series, it is possible to print documents set to overprint in a form close to actual printing. This feature can be used to confirm the effects of overprint or incorrect settings before actual printing, thereby avoiding unnecessary trouble during printing and improving work efficiency. With Toshiba’s advanced image-processing technologies, users can enjoy beautiful print quality.
Unsurpassed Productivity
The new series inherits good reliability and durability, beautiful image quality and the other outstanding strengths that constitute the Toshiba Advantage. New finishing and editing features ensure even higher quality in the finished work. The e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C delivers 55/65 ppm colour and 55/65/75 ppm black-and-white output speed. It has been designed with a variety of innovations intended to reduce down-time. Paper or toner can be replaced during printing, eliminating the need to interrupt a large-capacity print job.
The greatest advantage of this series is its total speed from information input to output. For example, it can improve workflow of scan capacity up to 57spm in the conversion of data to PDF. Similarly, the Tandem printing feature permits the division of a print job between two MFPs to reduce printing time. This feature allows user to complete a large printing job quickly, simply by distributing a printing job between two e-STUDIOs on a network. Users also enjoy advanced paper handling along with high reliability and durability. The e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C assures high productivity for users who perform high-volume print jobs.
At Your Convenience
The e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C is designed to cater to the needs of every user. By putting people first, Toshiba brings forth an improved user interface that allows user to operate the MFP easily and more comfortably. The large 8.5-inch colour touch panel features large icons for a clearer view. This new, easy-to-use interface incorporates numerous refinements for all-round operating ease.
With the new One-Touch Print Template, user can set the settings of the printer drivers in a graphical manner, which displays the print image at a glance. Documents inside the e-Filing box which were formerly displayed only by file name can now be displayed as thumbnail image. Now you can find your desired document easily.
The Preview function makes it possible to check the scanned image instantly on the control panel. You no longer need to return to your PC to check the scanned data and you can redo scans on the e-STUDIO printer. In the e-STUDIO6550C series, this function becomes available on the Scan and FAX functions. In addition, you can replace, add and delete a page on the scan/preview function.
The e-STUDIO Job Replicator provides useful carbon copy capabilities. You can easily make carbon copy documents such as invoices and receipts by placing normal copy paper and colored copy paper in separate drawers. The main sheets are produced on normal, white copy paper while the carbon copies or duplicates are generated on colored paper. This approach eliminates the need to purchase expensive specialized stationery, software or the hassle of installing impact printers.
A Total Peace of Mind
The new e e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C provides a full range of business security solutions, both in the network and for individual user. These security solutions will give user a total peace of mind knowing that confidential documents are protected, and at the same time ensures simpler operability. The hardcopy security print features offer more secure document management to users by embedding screen code in printouts. With the Data Overwrite enabler, users can enable the high-security mode which in turn can enable related security features. The e-STUDIO6550C series also provides new functions of the Hardcopy Security Print feature as an option. These functions offer more secure document management by embedding screen code in printouts.
Integration Ready
Advanced MFPs are of little use to business if they do not integrate with existing network environments. Toshiba advanced version of the e-BRIDGE Open Platform is an architecture that simplifies links between the e-STUDIO series and third party solutions. Upgrades include the addition of an output management interface. This interface enables the collection of diverse information from applications and control of devices. It also simplifies connection with other systems for output management, accounting, and so on.
Toshiba offers various applications for working with e-STUDIO models. The e-BRIDGE Re-Rite, e-BRIDGE Job Separator and e-BRIDGE Job Build are just a few. The use of these applications makes it possible to provide solutions that effectively respond to diverse user needs.
Comprehensive Management
The e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C provides more flexibility in terms of user management, security management and even device management. This significantly reduce the time and trouble spent on initial set ups and installation. Toshiba’s Managed Document Services (MDS) aims to streamline entire document and print process, which includes data capturing, document archiving, document workflow, data security and environmental management. Users can rely on Toshiba MDS for devices that print, copy, scan, fax and the maintenance of printers as well as management of consumables. The full operating costs incurred in printing and document infrastructure will also be tracked across the organization. With this enhancement, user will enjoy dedicated pro-active account management, output management solutions, enhanced security, and consolidated billing services, green-office advice and the convenience of a single point of contact.
With the robust functionality, advance print technology, greater flexibility, security solutions and simpler job management, the new high-end Color e-STUDIO5540C/6540C/6550C will definitely bring your business to a higher level of performance and innovation.
