National Société Générale Bank (NSGB) is one of the largest private banks operating in Egypt and wa s established in 1978 with a focus on corporate banking. Through selective development of its core activities, NSGB today has 125 branches covering 21 governorates, 250 ATMs and more than 3,000 banking professionals.

To meet the demands for photocopying, scanning, faxing as well as voluminous printing, the Head of Administration & Organization requested a complete study on how to efficiently reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by taking control of the amount of print and copy material from every department and branch. Challenges include ways of gaining stronger business performance by increasing paper handling productivity and how to curb unnecessary machine downtime or sudden productivity.

The El Araby (ELA) Team made a full study on the NSGB’s current situation to figure out the business requirements and system structure. Points of contacts and responsibilities were updated, current monthly and yearly print/copy /scan /fax volume was noted, as were the distribution between Black-and-White and color. Other considerations include current cost paid per customer over the Machines in Field life (MIF) and current challenges faced in providing or receiving the overall services.

The El Araby (ELA) Team designed a suitable solution covering all NSGB requirements and demonstrated our new solution that focused on the hot and cold points of possible failure/bottlenecks in their MFP usage pattern. Today El Araby (ELA) is the sole vendor of Toshiba MFPs for NSGB, providing them support by establishing a full service contract from day one of purchase. The contract will be automatically converted into a cost per copy once after completion of the 1st year warranty. This also enables them to have the full service they need to maximize usage of the machines. Till this date, El Araby (ELA) has supplied them with more than 300 which strengthened El Araby (ELA) as successful business partner.
